What types of sessions do you photograph?

I capture everything for your growing family! Family, maternity, newborn, milestones, cake smash, motherhood & senior sessions.

What is your photography style?

My style is vibrant, playful & fun! I spend a lot of your session chatting & getting to know you and playing with your kids. I hope you're okay with my corny jokes, bubbles & fun little games to play. I always hope your family makes a few new fun memories during your session too!

What is your editing style?

I prefer my images stay true to life with pops of vibrant color. I strive for consistency in all of my galleries and hand edit all of my images.

Where is your studio?

My studio is located at 435 W Oak St Cottage Grove WI 53527, right outside of Madison. It is a 1200 sqft. studio with multiple setups placed throughout the room with both studio & natural light options. In the lounge area I have complimentary drinks, snacks and kids toys to keep everyone happy. For outdoor sessions I have a variety of favorite locations around Madison that we will go over when booking. Any sessions held outside of Dane County will have a travel fee added on.

When do you schedule sessions?

I prefer scheduling outdoor sessions (family, maternity, senior) in the mornings or early evenings about one hour before sunset for the best light. I am available at sunset on Monday & Thursday evenings. I understand that kids bedtime schedules don't always align with this though and can chat about moving session times up if we choose a location that offers shade.

Studio sessions (family, newborn, milestones, cake smash) are held Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. As well as Monday & Thursday early evenings.

Do you take a session deposit?

Yes, I ask for a signed contract and $100 session retainer to reserve your session in my calendar. This retainer is nonrefundable but does go toward your final session fee.

Do you offer wardrobe or styling?

I have a client closet that is always growing! I have a separate page with pictures of my client closet for you to look over. We can set up a time for you to come to the studio to try on any of my options or I can bring them to the session. I also have a pop up tent for easy outfit changes on location.

How long do sessions take?

Session lengths vary by type: Newborns can be 1-3 hours, family is an hour, milestones are 45 minutes and cake smash is usually 90 minutes.

When should I book my baby's newborn session?

Scheduling your baby's newborn session earlier is always better. I only take a certain number of newborn sessions each month to allow for rescheduling and cannot guarantee I have will have space in my calendar if you wait until baby is born to schedule. Most parents will schedule with me as they enter the 2nd trimester.

What should I bring with me to my baby's session?

The only thing you need to bring is your baby and a stocked diaper bag. A pacifier, if your baby takes one, is also helpful. I have the rest! From a changing table with diapers and wipes to every colored swaddle, outfit, hat, headband, backdrop, bucket, and basket.

Can my dog be included?

Absolutely! I have a variety of dog friendly outdoor locations I can recommend, as well as dogs are welcome in my studio too.

When will you deliver my gallery?

My gallery turnaround time is guaranteed at 4 weeks in your session contract. Typically it is no later than 2 weeks and I will give you a better estimate at your session. I do like to post sneak peeks on Facebook and Instagram within 1 week.

Where do I print my pictures?

If you'd like to print locally I always recommend The Camera Company on Odana Rd. Mixtiles and Mpix are both great online printers.

How do I schedule a session?
